I'm so happy to have a storefront in the Knightville neighborhood of South Portland, but that comes with some pretty sad news. The super cool vintage travel trailer that was our mobile shop is being neglected each day sitting in the driveway. I've got the best memories of getting it into a storage unit so it could be fixed up for SOWA handmade shows in Boston. It was my everything and I enjoyed every moment that I got to spend in it.
Enough sappy memories and onto the facts and sales information for anyone who is interested.
It's a 1969 Serro Scotty Sportsman
It measures 13 feet long and 6 feet wide
It's lightweight and weighs just under 1000 pounds. A normal car can tow it around. It's so lightweight that I can even pull it and push it to get it into the right spot.
It's been custom painted and is a volkswagon turquoise color with a cream color on the top.
There is no bathroom (sorry!)
The travel trailer has been completely restored. It was taken all the way down to the frame and put back together again.
It even has a great little custom cover to keep the sun and other weather elements off of it.
It's got a classic canned ham travel trailer shape to it.
Brand new tires, shiny rims, cushions, air mattress, you name it.
Asking price: $13,000 firm.
Here is a huge amount of photos of our mobile shop. If you have any additional questions or would like to schedule a showing, feel free to send us an email. I want to make sure this travel trailer is going to be sold to the right person who appreciates the Scotty brand. It will be available to look at starting now until Nov 1st. After Nov 1st, I'm planning on putting it into indoor storage and listing it again in the spring of 2018.
