Beachdashery Retail Shop

Beachdashery Retail Shop

I'm excited to announce that I'm opening my very own retail shop in South Portland. It's in a great location right in the heart of Knightville on Ocean Street. You can find me right next to the Bridgeway Restaurant and across the street from CIA Cafe. I'll admit it's a little intimidating to have my own retail shop and I might of bit off more than I can chew but I'm determined to make it work. I'm so used to being the jewelry maker and making sure all the other retail shops that I sell jewelry too are all set and taken care of with my brand. The goal right now with this shop is to be open and carry products that you all want to buy. It's such a great area and I'm happy to be included in it.

There was a bunch of planning and making sure everything would be perfect for opening day. You'll be able to shop all the jewelry styles that are available on my website, but I am also carrying other brands in the shop that are handmade and nautical. We are carrying all the adorable totes and wristlets made from recycled sails from Seabags. I'm also a big fan of the recycled lobster rope mats made by Cape Porpoise. Her ombre rugs are gorgeous and every home needs one. I fell in love with buoy pillows and Cobalt Sky Studio 8 years ago when she opened her etsy shop. My very good friend Valerie Paul's watercolor prints will be available here too. I love all of her art. Mae Chevette is another very talented artist who specializes in mixed media who is also selling her art in my store. We used to exhibit at SOWA together and her art has a very beachy wanderlust vibe to it.

I'm also carrying other jewelry designers whose work I really love that I feel compliments my beach jewelry as well. Kelly from Searopes will have her rope bracelets available. Allison Cole and her rope bracelets will also be available here. Leetie Lovendales lucite hoop earrings look just like seaglass that I think you will love. I absolutely love candles and will be carrying Blue Anchor from Rhode Island. Her scented soy candles are amazing and one of her collections is a candle inside a cohoug shell. Since this is a boutique gift shop, I couldn't leave out skincare. You'll be able to find MerSea lotions and soaps, the salt air fragrance is intoxicating. I'll also have skincare and perfume brands available from Birchrose + Co, Rouge and Rye, and Old Whaling Co, Since this gift shop is just starting out, I will need feedback from all of you to let me know what you'd like to see in the shop.

The goal of the Beachdashery Retail Shop is for it to be a little nautical boutique gift shop. Stop by and say hello if you are in the area. We will be open Tuesday through Saturday from 11am until 4pm for now. I don't want to commit to extended hours right now until I get a little more feedback from my customers like you. See you soon!
